Step 2 of 10:

Building Shape

In this step, you’ll crochet Rounds 3 to 5 with purple yarn.

You’ll keep increasing (inc) in every round, but now with single crochet (sc) stitches worked in between, so Pip’s Body grows wider and starts to take shape.

Keep marking the first stitch of each round with your stitch marker so you always know where you are.

Watch: Prefer to follow along? The video below shows how to crochet Rounds 3 to 5 and start shaping Pip's Body, from start to finish.

You've spaced out your increases and your flat circle is growing into Pip's head.

Next up: your first color change.
